Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
The apartment is the one we normally live in. I have included some photos but I can provide many more if necessary.
It is on the second floor, in a small, very quiet and well-inhabited building. In the surrounding area there are parks and a large car park. It also has a private garage and cellar.
Perfect for a family with children, there are 4 beds but a large sofa and spaces to make room for someone else if necessary :-)
The town is Scandiano, it is very nice and full of activities and parties, especially in the summer period.
In the center there is the Rocca dei Boiardo, a very well preserved castle. Nearby are the hills of the Reggio Emilia Apennines, with many opportunities for trekking, bike rides, etc
Scandiano is central, in northern Italy, for visiting many well-known Italian attractions. It is well connected by roads and public transport. Milan is an hour away by train, Bologna, Verona, Mantua, Venice, Ferrara are within reach for a day trip; the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian coasts (Liguria) are about 150 km away; the Dolomites and Tuscany just further away...
I think it's the ideal place for a holiday in northern Italy, art, nature, fun, outdoor life!!
