Description of the home we are offering for exchange
New home located between Nazaré and São Martinho do Porto. The home will very comfortably accommodate 4 adults, both bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom. Kitchen is modern with new appliances, outdoor patio and dining area, access to coastal trails from your front door. The many trails in the area follow a ridge along the coast and have beautiful ocean views.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
My neighborhood is extremely peaceful. Located approx. halfway between the surfing beaches of Nazaré(8km) and the beautiful town of São Martinho do Porto (3km) it is situated on a ridge, with many beautiful hiking trails that follow the coastline. Mountain bikers also use these trails. There are cafes and a restaurant within 1.5 km, and the nearest grocery store is less than 5 km. There is a gym/health club 2 km away, and a public swimming pool in Nazaré. The town of São Martinho is situated on a bay, so the water is calm and it is very safe to swim there. The street adjacent to the bay has a multitude of restaurants, shops, cafés, and gelaterias to choose from. There is a boardwalk/path that circles the bay, and dogs can be walked on a leash. It is a 5 km walk along a trail overlooking the ocean from my home to the center of town.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
From our house it is a 27km drive to the medieval castle in Óbidos, 10 km to the town and famous surf beaches of Nazaré, 1h15m drive from Lisbon, 2h10m drive to Porto, and 50m/73km to the shrine at Fatima. There is access to hiking/mountain biking trails from the front door of the house! The beautiful (and calm) Bay of São Martinho do Porto is 4km away. It is one of the safest beaches in all of Portugal. Parasailing is 5 minutes away! Many historical sites are within a one hour drive. Our house is conveniently located on the Silver Coast!
